Re: Addendum to Weld County Extraordinary Circumstances Letter
Dear Ms. Gaily:
With regard to the letter referenced above, which requested continuing eligibility for FEMA Mitigation
Grant Programs due to extraordinary circumstances, Weld County additionally requests that continuing
eligibility cover all Weld County jurisdictions participating in the Weld County Hazard Mitigation Plan.
These include the following municipalities within Weld County:
• Ault
• •Gilcrest •• Mead
• Dacono • Greeley • Milliken
• Eaton • Grover • New Raymer
• Erie • Hudson
• Nunn
• Evans • Johnstown • Pierce
• Firestone • Keenesburg • Platteville
• Fort Lupton • Kersey • Severance
• Frederick • LaSalle •
• Garden City • Lochbuie
Additionally, these municipalities, which extend into Weld County, but have their business center in
another county are included:
• Berthoud • Longmont • Thornton
• Brighton • Northglenn
Finally, the Hazard Mitigation Plan may include participants from the following organizations:
• All 26 Fire Protection Districts and Departments within Weld County
• All Water and Sanitation Districts within Weld County
• All School Districts within Weld County
• All Healthcare Systems, Hospitals and Emergency Medical Services serving Weld County
Weld County requests that FEMA include this addendum with our previous correspondence concerning
the Weld County Hazard Mitigation Plan and our extraordinary circumstances request. For any questions

Commissioners, we received a request from FEMA to include the local communities to our Extraordinary Circumstance
letter.This is the letter that allows us an extended time to complete the update to our County Hazard Mitigation Plan.
This addendum will allow the towns of Evans, and Milliken to name a few, to continue their applications for the Hazard
Mitigation Grants. If I can get this information on the Commissions letter head and signed this will help to continue our
process.The needs to be returned by Dec1st.
