RE: Interest in Storage at Hokestra Pit
Dear Barb:
The Town of Firestone is currently exploring options on alternative sources of irrigation
for the Town's Parks. We estimate the need for approximately 400 to 500 acre-feet of
storage, and the possibility of more into the future. We understand that the County has
a clay-lined storage vessel available at its Hokestra site. The proximity of the Hokestra
Pit to the Town of Firestone makes it an ideal location for storing the Town's needed
supply. Please let me know the next step for Firestone to further negotiations on a
potential purchase.
