Box 758 Greeley, CO 80632 RE: Magnesium Chloride County Road 122 is being covered with magnesium chloride. This is not a solution for the road. I understand the road graders would not have to grade the road if they used this. The magnesium chloride was placed on the road one day and by two days later is was chipping terribly. This makes the road very slick when wet as well. How about paving it? I know we are all just small town but with all the oil rigs, water plants and wind turbines, I am sure that the county is getting plenty of money(taxes). Contrary to popular belief,we are hard working citizens that deserve some of the attention on our roads. Thank you for your time and consideration. The party traveling south did not slow down for the unmarked intersection. Our friends were traveling east to go to work on that morning. The pick up that collided into the friends did not slow down nor stop. Our friends had the right of way. Thankfully, the Lord was with them and they survived. Both of them sustained multiple injuries and were taken by helicopter to NCMC. Since that accident has happened, many of the co-workers including myself have had close encounters with the same situation that could have happened. I am reaching out to the County Commissioners to please look hard into putting a stop sign on County Road 95. When traveling on 95 and/or 122,the right of way is sketchy. It depends on what direction a person is traveling to know who has the right of way. The people that normally drive County Road 122 assume they always have the right of way because the rural area has assumed it is a main road. County Road 122 is not in the best of shape because of all the water trucks that travel this area. At one time, this was not really an issue but now it has become one. Please consider putting the stop signs up before another tragic accident or fatal accident happens. Thank you for your time and consideration.
