Exhibit H - Reclamation Costs
Costs of reclaiming the mined area will be very minimal since the
pit will be reclaimed as a pond.
Very little topsoil is available on the site and reseeding is not
anticipated.
Other than miscellaneous shaping of final slopes , no other reclamation
costs are anticipated. Reclamation costs will probably not exceed $500
for approximately 25 hours of shaping by a pafrol at $20 per hour cost.

Exhibit H - Reclamation Costs
Costs of reclaiming the mined area will be dependent on the final
mining plan. If sufficient sand and gravel depth is encountered, the pit
will be operated as a wet pit and the reclamation will consist of shaping,
topsoiling, and reseeding only the shores around the resultant pond.
In this case it is anticipated that reclamation costs will be approxi-
mately $500 per acre for a total area of one acre or a maximum cost of $500.
If the pit is mined as a dry pit reclamation will consist of resloping,
topsoiling and reseeding over the entire tract at a cost of approximately
$500 per acre, broken down as follows:
Hauling, placing, spreading topsoil 6" thick
43,560 sf x 0.5' = 27 = 807 cy @ $0.50/y = $403/ac
Reseeding, mulch if necessary $100/ac
$500/acre
Total cost then may be as much as $5000 to reclaim the entire 10 acre tract.

topsoil on the area and reseeding.
Costs are estimated as:
Placing topsoil $400/ac.
Reseed $100/ac
Total $500/acre
x 10 acre
Total Cost = $5,000 maximum
