CONSULTING ENGINEERS TST _ q May 22, 2014 Chris Gathman Weld County Dept. of Planning Services 1555 N. 17th Avenue Greeley, CO. 80631 Re: Septic System Capacity Dear Mr. Gathman, Included herein is a narrative regarding the use of the existing septic system and the need for portable toilets for the Diamond Valley Oil Terminal project. Based on discussion with the Town of Windsor, a proposed gravity sewer system along the frontage of this property is currently in the process of getting approved. The new gravity sewer is anticipated to be installed sometime this summer. At that time, the Town will be connecting a new sanitary sewer service to the property, and the septic system will no longer be needed. Until then we recommend that portable toilets be utilized onsite to reduce the impact on the existing septic system. Documentation as to the company who will provide portable toilets for the facility will be submitted to the county prior to construction. At this time we are requesting that we move forward with the review of the USR to determine the feasibility of the project prior to coordinating with a portable toilet provider.
