RE: APPROVE REORGANIZATION OF WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners has conducted an organizational
evaluation of the Weld County Department of Public Safety Communications, and
WHEREAS, as a result of the organizational evaluation the Board has made the
management and legislative decision to reorganize the department.
NOW THEREFORE BE RESOLVED, by the Board that Department of Public Safety
Communications shall be organized, effective September 22, 2014, as set forth in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and incorporated herein.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 22nd day of September, A.D., 2014.
