RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT AND APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF TRUSTEES
FOR NCMC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancies currently exist on the Board of Trustees for NCMC, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that David Owen be reappointed to said board as
a representative, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mark Lawley be appointed to said board, to
replace Jeffrey Carlson, and Michael Simone be appointed to said board, to replace David Engel,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint and appoint the aforementioned
persons to said board, with terms to expire January 10, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that David Owen be reappointed, and Mark Lawley and Michael Simone, be,
and hereby are, appointed to the Board of Trustees for NCMC.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 24th day of March, A.D., 2014.
