RE: ACCEPTANCE OF STREETS FROM HIGHLAND ESTATES SUBDIVISION
INTO THE COUNTY ROAD SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Highland Estates Subdivision is located in
part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 3 , Township 3 North,
Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. in Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the streets in this Subdivision were accepted
for partial maintenance by Weld County on February 13 , 1976
in accordance with Section 1. 3. 3 of the Weld County Construction
Standards, and
WHEREAS, certain discrepancies in the construction of said
streets were discovered by inspection by the Weld County
Engineering Department, which discrepancies have been completely
corrected, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering of Weld County,
Colorado has now recommended that Weld County accept all of
said streets for full maintenance and be added to the County
Road System, which streets are as follows :
Wagon Trail . 17 mile m/1
Fairways Drive . 37 mile m/1
Frontier Road . 22 mile m/1
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the above described
streets located in Highland Estates Subdivision be, and the same
are hereby added to the County Road System for full maintenance
from and after this date.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of
December, A.D. , 1976.

Street Acceptance
Highland Estates Subdivision is located 2 miles north of
Mead at the intersection of County Road' s # 7 and 38.
The streets in this subdivision were accepted for partial
maintenance February 13, 1976 in accordance with Sec. 1 . 3 . 3
of the Weld County Construction Standards.
The original acceptance of streets in this subdivision
was made in 1963 and at that time asphalting and bonds
were not required. The new developer agreed to asphalt
the streets to improve this subdivision .
Insepctions revealed some discrepancies in the asphalt
paving. The developer was notified of said discrepancies
and they were promptly corrected. This office now recommends
that the streets be accepted for full maintenance and added
to the County road system, said streets are as follows :
Wagon Trail . 17 mile m/1
Fairways Drive . 37 mile m/1
Frontier Road . 22 mile m/1

Re : Partial street maintenance-Highland Estates
We have made an inspection of the recently completed asphalt
streets in Highland Estates. We will accept these streets
for partial maintenance in accordance with Section 1 . 3 of the
Weld County Construction Standards .
In approximately nine (9 ) months we will make a second in-
spection to determine if the streets are acceptable for
final acceptance and full maintenance . We will notify you
of the results of our second inspection.
