RE: APPROVE WORK ORDER FORM #3 PURSUANT TO AGREEMENT FOR COUNTY
ROAD 49 EXTENSION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO
SIGN -WESTERN STATES LAND SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Work Order Form #3 Pursuant to
Agreement for County Road 49 Extension Improvements Project, between the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf
of the Department of Public Works, and Western States Land Services, commencing March 24,
2014, with a completion date of July 24, 2014, and with further terms and conditions being as
stated in said work order form, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said work order form, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Work Order Form #3 Pursuant to Agreement for County Road 49
Extension Improvements Project, between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public
Works, and Western States Land Services, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said work order form.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 9th day of April, A.D., 2014, nunc pro tunc March 24, 2014.

EXHIBIT A
Scope of Work
Western States Land Services will all work necessary to acquire 3 parcels of Right of Way and associated
Easements on the Weld County Road 49 Extension Project.The Weld County project number is SRP 23.
The parcels are owned my Bosch, Hall Irwin and Stevenson.
All documents will be reviewed by Weld County prior to submittal to the landowner.A complete set of
documents will be kept by Western States and surrendered to Weld County when the project right of
way has been completed.
Weld County will furnish all appraisals,title commitments and legal descriptions to Western States.
Weld County will also furnish copies of agreements,deeds of dedication and possession and use
agreements. If warranted,Western States may pursue possession and use agreements from the
landowners but only after approval by Weld County
Fees for this project will be based on the attached fee schedule, Exhibit B.
