Phillips , Recording Secretary of the Weld County Planning Commission , do hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution is a true copy of the Resolution of the Planning Commission of Weld County , Colorado . rCopted on November 15 . 1977 and re- corded in Book No . V of the proceedings of the said Planning Commission . Dated the Zg day of November 19 77 Secretary Q .sv Stimulation Division Sept. 29, 1977 Tom Honn Zoning Administrator Dept. of Planning Services Greeley, Colorado 80631 Dear Sir: The Western Company is applying for a permit to bury a 10,000 gallon fiberglass tank with associated draining sump on the Southwest corner of The Western Company property. The tank is to be used as a holding tank for waste fluids associated with our type business (waste water, oil, and dilute Hydrocloric Acid - from flushed tanks) . The waste fluids will be removed from the holding tank by Mile High Sanitation Company and disposed of in a pit on their property as required. The original plan to gather these waste fluids in a surfaced, open pit and disposed of through the Brighton city sewer system has proven unsatisfactory and will not be used in the future. This pit will only catch and contain drainage water from around the warehouse area. Your favorable consideration of this deviation from original plans will enable The Western Company to more efficiently gather and dispose of these waste fluids. Thank you. City of Brighton has reviewed the request by Western Oil Company to establish an underground holding tank for oil field washes to be established on the southern portion of their lot . The City has no objections to this installation of the 10 , 000 gallon tank and dumping area as proposed. However, we would recommend that the construction conform to all proper specifications for acid handling and that the current park and dump area be retained for parking of the acid trucks and protection of the acid tank.
