RE: POLICY CONCERNING CAR POOLING OF WELD COUNTY EMPLOYEES
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSERVING ENERGY AND FOR THE PURPOSE
OF MAKING THE MAXIMUM UTILIZATION OF PARKING FACILITIES
IN AND AROUND THE WELD COUNTY CENTENNIAL CENTER.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado deems it advisable to adopt a policy of encouraging
all Weld County employees to enter into car pooling arrangements
with other Weld-Eennty employees for transportation to and from
work to the end that energy may be conserved and further, to
reduce the problem created by the limited number of parking
spaces available in the Weld County Centennial Center, and the
area adjacent to the Weld County Centennial Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that said Board does
hereby adopt a policy of encouraging all Weld County employees
to enter into car pooling arrangements with other Wend-C-etiaty
employees for transportation to and from work, as more fully
set forth above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
March, A.D. , 1978.
