RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST TO WAIVE LATE FEE FOR
RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR 3.2 PERCENT BEER RETAIL ON/OFF PREMISES
LICENSE - ISSUED TO HIGHLANDLAKE, INC., DBA HIGHLANDLAKE, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with request from Highlandlake, Inc., dba
Highlandlake, Inc., to waive the late fee for the renewal application for a 3.2 Percent Beer Retail
On/Off Premises License for the sale of fermented malt beverages, containing not more than 3.2
percent of alcohol by weight, for consumption by the drink on the premises only, and/or in sealed
containers not for consumption at the place where sold, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 5th day of February, 2014, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter for one week, due to inclement
weather, to allow the applicant to be present.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to February 12,
2014, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of February, A.D., 2014.
