RESOLUTION OF RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Moved by Frederick Hepner, that the following resolution be introduced for passage by the Weld County
Board of Health. Be it resolved by the Weld County Board of Health that the application for:

ON-SITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS REGULATIONS
1. Opposed to operations and maintenance plan oversight (note: Colorado
Department of Public Health and Environment, Water Quality Control Division's
requirement if allow size and separation distance reductions for higher level
treatment systems).
2. Sec. 30-5-40. Detailed Soil Investigation
A. Approved language requiring a competent technician or other similar
professional Section 30-5-40.D.1. Procedure for Performing Percolation Tests
and Section 30-5-40.E.1. Visual and Tactile Evaluation of Soil Requirements
3. Sec. 30-5-50. Percolation Holes, Profile Holes, and Profile Test Pits

A. Soil profile pit shall be immediately covered after evaluation by third party
(professional engineer, geologist, competent technician or other similar
professional).
