RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF WILLIAM HERTNEKY TO BOARD OF RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, starting August 1, 2014, there will be a vacancy on the Board of Retirement,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that William Hertneky be appointed to said board
as a public member—qualified elector, to replace William Hughes, effective August 1, 2014, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint William Hertneky to said board, with
a term to expire July 31, 2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that William Hertneky be, and hereby is, appointed to the Board of Retirement,
with a term to commence August 1, 2014, and expire July 31, 2018.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 21st day of July, A.D., 2014.
