RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST TO WAIVE BID PROCEDURE
CONCERNING SMALL TRACT OIL AND GAS LEASE, ACCEPT OFFER TO LEASE
MINERAL ACRE, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - LAND ENERGY, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a request to waive bid procedure
concerning small tract oil and gas lease, accept offer to lease mineral acre, and authorize Chair to
sign for Land Energy, Inc., and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 10th day of November, 2014, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter one week to allow the Clerk to
the Board adequate time to verify the parcel, which is not on a section-line, is County owned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to November 17,
2014, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 10th day of November, A.D., 2014.
