RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO AREA AGENCY ON
AGING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ken Norem, Linda Banghart, Mary Jones, and
Alexander Zauder, be reappointed to said board, with terms to expire January 31, 2017, nunc pro
tunc February 1, 2014 , and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Roberta Speyer and Alice Boyle be appointed
to said board with terms to expire January 31, 2017, nunc pro tunc April 1, 2014, and that Nancy
Culbreath be appointed to said board, with a term to expire January 31, 2016, nunc pro tunc
April 1, 2014, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Ken Norem, Linda Banghart, Mary
Jones and Alexander Zauder, and to appoint Roberta Speyer, Alice Boyle and Nancy Culbreath to
said board, all with terms to expire as described above, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the aforementioned persons be, and hereby are, reappointed and
appointed, respectively, to the Area Agency on Aging, with terms to expire as listed above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 14th day of April, A.D., 2014.
