Esther,
The RFP is on hold. We are presently out of maintenance with the Spillman software we are using today. They support
us but only for critical issues. The users and Commissioners requested a hold on the project so we could upgrade
Spillman to their latest version. The vendors who were still being considered in the RFP process have been advised the
project for replacement is on hold,with no notification as to when it may reopened. The present time line for the
upgrade is to go live in July. After the upgrade I anticipate we will continue to use the Spillman system for some time
into the future. Even if, in the near future the users decide they want to look at different systems we have found Public
Safety system technology changes so rapidly that we would be better off opening a new RFP process. I'd recommend
closing the RFP.

Hi Esther,
It looks like B1500153 is the RFP for the Spillman Replacement Software. As far as I know,the Spillman Replacement
project is on hold. Whether they will move it forward or not is an unknown at this point.

I came across a pending folder with some old bid tabulations in them that appear to have stalled. Can you confirm
whether the project connected with B1400153 was completed and give me some direction on what to link this too, or if
perhaps it was voided and another process used. The attached Bid tab is all I have in Tyler.
