RE: AUTHORIZATION OF SOCIAL SERVICES PHASE III PAY PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Eugene McKenna, Social Services Director has re-
quested that the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado authorize the Weld County Social Services caseworkers,
administrative staff and certain technical workers to move to
the Phase III pay plan effective July 1, 1978, and
WHEREAS, said plan would involve 70 of the 96 staff members
of the Department and would bring Weld County in line with the
ten large counties in Colorado, and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the Social Services
budget to cover the salary increase, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado deem it advisible and in the best interest of Weld County,
Colorado to approve the said Phase III pay plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Social Services
Phase III Pay Plan, be and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of
July, A.D. , 1978.
