Home My WebLink About20140017.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE REQUEST FOR RENEWAL OF LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICE AGREEMENT -TOWN OF KEENESBURG WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with a Request to Renew the Law Enforcement Service Agreement between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Sheriffs Office, and the Town of Keenesburg, commencing January 1, 2014, and ending December 31, 2014, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said request, and WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to approve the request to renew said agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,that the Request to Renew the Law Enforcement Service Agreement between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Sheriffs Office, and the Town of Keenesburg be, and hereby is, approved. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of January, A.D., 2014, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2014. The maximum amount to be billed to the Town by the Sheriff for direct and indirect I. services shall be$ 45,000.00 for the fiscal year 2014. If the maximum amount is billed prior to the expiration of the term of this Agreement,unless an amendment to this Agreement authorizing.an additional amount for the payment of the services described herein is entered into by both parties,the Sheriff shall no longer be obligated to provide such services.
