Home My WebLink About20141137.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACKNOWLEDGE CANCELLATION OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE (TS CERT 2005-0668) FOR PARCEL#053933103007 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on April 9, 2014, the Board was presented with one (1) Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2005-0668), for parcel #053933103007, from the office of the Weld County Treasurer; however, the County Treasurer, John Lefebvre, was unable to be present and the matter was continued to April 14, 2014, and WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on the Certificate of Cancellation, marked Exhibit A, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, require the cancellation of TS CERT 2005-0668, and WHEREAS, the facts as set forth on Exhibit A further authorize the denial of a refund to the holder of TS CERT 2005-0668, and WHEREAS, after review on April 14, 2014, the Board deems it advisable to acknowledge the cancellation of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate (TS CERT 2005-0668) for the property described above and to deny a refund to the holder of the Certificate.
