East and West bound traffic would be stopped on CR 28 at CR 21. The traffic count for CR 28 was taken in July 2013 with an AADT of 495. The traffic count for CR 21 was taken in July 2013 with an AADT of 447, both roadways are collector roadways. CR 21 is paved and CR 28 is paved east of CR 21 and Gravel west of CR 21. The Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) section 2B.04 suggests that stop signs should be placed at an intersection of a less important road with a main road where application of the normal right-of-way rule would not be expected to provide reasonable compliance with the law. Public Works has a policy in place to stop all gravel roadways that intersect a paved roadway. For consistency if we stop one leg of a roadway we need to stop the other leg of a roadway; which requires that we make this intersection a 3-way stop intersection. Public Works recommends that traffic be stopped on CR 28 & CR 21 in the East and West bound directions. 2014-2741 September 4,2014 C: I.JserS shrownAAppDatad ocalAMicrosotiWindokss.I emporary Internet Files 1Content.Outlook\HIJFHO]UR'BOCC 090414 2 SSeloc Hello
