The bottom of the sand filter must be no less than two feet above the high ground water surface or bedrock for installations in which effluent percolates downward through the soil. b. An unlined sand filter is to be sized based on Section 30-11-30.B.1.d.(1) or the LTAR of the receiving soil, whichever is greater. 4.
