WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, a hearing was held before the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado on the 28th day of December, 1977 at 2 : 00 o' clock p. m. , concerning the extension of certain weed control districts located in Weld County, Colorado, to-wit: Southeast Weld District No. 4 Platte Valley District No. 5 Eaton-Ault District No. 6 Briggsdale-New Raymer-Stoneham District No. 8 and, WHEREAS , petitions were presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, requesting extension of the termination dates of the above named districts from December 31, 1977 , to December 31, 1982, and WHEREAS, evidence was taken by the Board of County Commis- sioners of Weld County, Colorado, and it appearing to the Board that the extension of the termination dates of the above described weed control districts should, in the best interests of Weld County, Colorado, be extended from December 31, 1977 to December 31, 1982. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that pursuant to Section 35-5-104 (7) , CRS 1973 , as amended, that the termination date of the above named weed control districts in Weld County, Colorado, be, and the same are hereby extended from December 31, 1977 to December 31, 1982 . Stan Boyes, County Extension Agent was present and stated the need for the extension of the termination dates. Several of the weed district supervisors were in attendance and expressed their wishes that the dates be extended. After all testimony was received, Commissioner Roe made a motion to extend the expiration dates of the termination districts to December 31 , 1982 . Commissioner Dunbar seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
