Dear Ms. Aungst:
This referral does not appear to qualify as a "subdivision" as defined in Section 30-28-101(10)(a),
C.R.S. Therefore, pursuant to the State Engineer's March 4, 2005 and March 11, 2011 memorandums to
county planning directors, this office will only perform a cursory review of the referral information and provide
informal comments. The comments do not address the adequacy of the water supply plan for this project or
the ability of the water supply plan to satisfy any County regulations or requirements. In addition, the
comments provided herein cannot be used to guarantee a viable water supply plan or infrastructure, the
issuance of a well permit, or physical availability of water.
The application seeks a site specific development plan and use by special review permit for an office
and equipment storage for a concrete construction company on a 3.98-acre parcel. The office location will
have two full-time employees onsite, with two more full-time management/supervisor employees who will
spend the majority of their time at various job sites. It is anticipated that there will be 6 to 12 part-time
employees who will meet at the office site and then depart for jobsites in company vehicles.
The City of Greeley currently provides water to the site through a 5/8"water tap. According to a
letter dated July 15, 2013 from the City of Greeley's Water and Sewer Services Coordinator, Greeley will
continue to provide service to this site in the future.
With the City of Greeley as the water supplier, this office has no objections to the subject proposal.
