RE: AUTHORIZATION TO TRANSFER $255. 39 FROM HB 1041 SUPPLEMENTAL
FUNDS TO THE TRI-AREA FOR PLANNING PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a representative of the Weld County Department of
Planning Services has informed the Board of County Commissioners
that the Tri-Area towns of Frederick, Firestone and Dacono have
all been requested to contribute $1, 000 towards the Tri-Area
planning project, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board
of County Commissioners, that the Town of Firestone is unable to
contribute its entire $1, 000 amount, and
WHEREAS, the State of Colorado has indicated its approval
for the transfer of the unused HB 1041 Supplemental Funds to
the Tri-Area planning project, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has deemed it
advisable and in the best interest of Weld County to authorize
the transfer of $255. 39 from HB 1041 Supplemental Funds to the
Tri-Area for planning purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners that the transfer of the unused portion of HB 1041
Supplemental Funds in the amount of $255. 39, be, and hereby is,
authorized.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 1st day of
February, A.D. , 1978.
