RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS OF VARIOUS REPRESENTATIVES TO THE
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Elise Lowe-Vaughn be appointed to said
board as the Department of Labor and Employment representative, to replace Celia Hardin, nunc
pro tunc, January 1, 2014, and expiring December 31, 2014, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to appoint Clay Drake as a Financial
representative, with a term to expire December 31, 2015, and
WHEREAS, it has also been recommended to appoint David Thompson as a Financial
representative and Andy Meyer as a Large Business representative with terms to expire
December 31, 2016, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Elise Lowe-Vaughn, Clay Drake,
David Thompson, and Andy Meyer to said board, with terms to expire December 31, 2014,
December 31, 2015, and December 31, 2016, respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Elise Lowe-Vaughn, Clay Drake, David Thompson, and Andy Meyer be,
and hereby are, appointed to the Workforce Development Board, with terms to expire
December 31, 2014, December 31, 2015, and December 31, 2016, respectively.

by the following vote on the 15th day of October, A.D., 2014.
