RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF TRACEY MCCOY TO COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Community Corrections Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Tracey McCoy be appointed to said board as
the Municipal Police Chief representative, to replace James Burack, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Tracey McCoy to said board, with no
term expiration, as this is a standing position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Tracey McCoy be, and hereby is, appointed to the Community Corrections
Board, with no term expiration, as this is a standing position.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of May, A.D., 2014.
