RE: COOPERATIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGREEMENT WITH U.S. FOREST
SERVICE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County and the U.S . Forest Department entered
into a cooperative law enforcement agreement dated July 16, 1979 ,
and
WHEREAS, the cooperative law enforcement agreement authorized,
under Part 3 , the acquisition of certain capital outlay items,
and
WHEREAS, the U.S. Forestry Service has authorized Weld
County to purchase $1,500.00 worth of equipment under this agree-
ment at no cost to Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the U.S. Forestry funds had to be encumbered no
later than September 30 , 1979 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Chairman of the
Weld County Board of County Commissioners is hereby authorized
to sign the attached amendment to the cooperative law enforcement
agreement dated July 16, 1979 between Weld County and the U.S.
Forestry Service for the acquisition of $1,500 .00 worth of
equipment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of
October, A.D. , 1979 , nunc pro tunc, September 28 , 1979 .
