Department of Public Health and Environment CASE NO.: PUDF14-0007 NAME: Nash & Scupin Environmental Health Services has reviewed this proposal for a PUD (Planned Unit Development) final plan application for one (1) residential lot with Estate zone uses. The minimum lot size of 4.03 acres does meet current Department policy. This PUD will allow the applicants to apply for a Use by Special Review (USR) permit for a kennel. The Colorado Reptile Humane Society is currently operating from the property. Longs Peak Water District provides water and an individual sewage disposal system provides sewer (G19732314). Once an USR application is submitted, this department will require specific items such as; dust abatement plan, waste handling plan and adequacy of septic system for kennel usage. The Department recommends approval with the following notes which should appear on the change of zone and final plats: 1. Water service shall be obtained from Longs Peak Water District. 2. This subdivision is in rural Weld County and is not served by a municipal sanitary sewer system. Sewage disposal shall be by septic systems designed in accordance with the regulations of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Water Quality Control Division and the Weld County Code in effect at the time of construction, repair, replacement, or modification of the system. 3.
