RE: DENIAL OF ARISTROCRAT RANCHETTES REQUEST FOR THE USE OF
COUNTY EQUIPMENT FOR CLEAN-UP PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, are vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a group of residents living in Section 27 in Town-
ship 2 North of Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. in Weld County,
Colorado, commonly known as 'Aristrocrat Ranchettes" have requested
the County Commissioners to approve the use of county vehicles and
other equipment for the purpose of cleaning up the area known as
"Aristrocrat Ranchettes" , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, finds that such use of county equipment by private in-
dividuals on private property is illegal and therefore should be
denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of parties
living in Section 27 in Township 2 North of Range 66 West of the
6th P.M. in Weld County, Colorado, commonly known as "Aristrocrat
Ranchettes" for the use of county vehicles and other equipment for
the purpose of cleaning up said area be, and hereby is denied.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of
April, A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 13th day of April, A. D. , 1977.
