RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Extension Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Eric Aakko be appointed to said board as the
Family and Consumer Science representative, to replace John Kruse, with a term to expire
February 1, 2016, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Brad Walker be.reappointed to said board as
the Crop Science representative, and it has been recommended that Brechen Santeramo and
William Erickson be reappointed as the 4H and Youth representatives, each with terms to expire
February 1, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that aforementioned persons be, and hereby are, appointed, and reappointed,
respectively, to the Extension Advisory Council, with terms as stated above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of February, A.D., 2014.
