RE: APPROVAL OF FIREWORKS LICENSE TO THE PLATTE VALLEY FIRE
DEPARTMENT FOR THE 9TH OF JULY, 1978.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Section 12-28-103, CRS 1973 , as amended, permits
Weld County to grant permits for public displays of fire works
by organizations and groups, and
WHEREAS, the Platte Valley Fire Department has applied for a
fire works display permit for July 9 , 1978 , which display will take
place in the East Side of Platte Valley School Stadium, 100 yards
East of East Field Fence, Kersey, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado desire to grant said application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Platte Valley Fire
Department be and hereby is, granted a fire works display permit
for July 9 , 1978, which display shall be held in the East Side of
Platte Valley School Stadium, 100 yards East of East Field Fence,
Kersey, Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of
July, A.D. , 1978 .
