RE: APPOINTMENT OF CHERYL HEWITT AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, due to the retirement of Donna Bechler, ending her employment with Weld
County effective December 15, 2014, a need exists to appoint another Deputy Clerk to the
Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the
desire of the Board to appoint Cheryl Hewitt as Deputy Clerk to the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Cheryl Hewitt be, and hereby is, appointed Deputy Clerk to the
Board, effective November 17, 2014.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 24th day of November, A.D., 2014, nunc pro tunc November 17,
2014.
