RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER MIKE FREEMAN TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Mike Freeman has been assigned to Coordinate the Department
of Planning Services, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Freeman be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
Extension Advisory Council
Island Grove Park Advisory Board
Emergency Food and Shelter Program Board
Federal Mineral Lease District Board of Directors
North Front Range Water Quality (alternate member)
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Freeman to said boards,
with his term to expire December 31, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner Mike Freeman be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with his term to expire December 31, 2014.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 6th day of January, A.D., 2014, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2014.
