WELD COUNTY COUNCIL
October 8, 2014
The Weld County Council met in special session in full conformity with the Weld County
Home Rule Charter, Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at the Weld County Administration
Building, Greeley, CO.
Present:
Councilwoman Marge Klein
Councilman Brett Abernathy
Councilman Don Mueller
Councilman Bernard C. Kinnick
Councilman Jeffrey Hare
Commissioner Garcia
Commissioner Conway
Commissioner Kirkmeyer
Commissioner Rademacher
Commissioner Freeman
Bruce Barker, County Attorney
Sarah Mundt, Council Secretary.
Discussion: The County Council met with the Commissioners to discuss a letter sent to
the Council addressing a process of communication for requests between the two
County departments. The open discussion resulted with the consensus that a process
does need to be established and that the Council members will make requests either
formally through the President of the Council to the Chair of the Commissioners or in
the case of constituent needs or smaller matters of business, directly to the
Commissioner Coordinator assigned to the appropriate Department.
