The Public Works Department recommends awarding the bid to the 2nd low bidder, Power Equipment. The
lowest bid from Power Motive does not meet specs. The bid requires the unit to be no more than one year old
with no more than 200 hours on it. The unit they bid is three years old with more than 200 hours on it. The
price for one Extendable Stacker from Power Equipment is $197,191.00. Service manuals are available on-
line at no cost.
There is $200,000 budgeted for this purchase.
