RE: ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION OF RIP-RAP
MATERIAL BY AGRITRACK, INC., TO THE WELD COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT, AND EXPRESSION OF THANKS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after the flooding which occurred in September, 2013, many Weld County
roads and bridges needed rip-rap material to use for shoring and filling to repair the roads, and
WHEREAS, Agritrack, Inc., donated rip-rap to the Weld County Department of Public
Works for use in such road and bridge repairs, which totaled $15,799, as shown on the attached
Exhibit "A," and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners acknowledges and accepts such
donation and thanks Agritrack, Inc., for the donation which greatly assisted the Department of
Public Works in reopening various Weld County roads in an expeditious manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the donation of rip-rap by Agritrack, Inc., be, and hereby is,
acknowledged and accepted, with the Board's thanks to Agritrack, Inc., for its assistance at a
critical time.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded
to Agritrack, Inc.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 6th day of January, A.D., 2014.
