RE: ABATEMENT OF TAXES - AMOCO PRODUCTION COMPANY, SECURITY
LIFE BUILDING, DENVER, COLORADO 80202 .
WHEREAS , pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes 39-1-113,
1973, as amended, a hearing was held on January 31, 1977, on
the petition of Amoco Production Company, for abatement of taxes
on certain equipment located on the following described real
estate, to-wit:
Leasehold Interest SW4NW4: Sec 10-1-67
(Robert J. Brown (NAv) 601698) Amoco
Leasehold Interest SASW4: Sec 10-1-67
(Suckla C Unit (NAv) 605754) Amoco
Leasehold Interest NE4SE4: Sec 10-1-67
(Suckla B Unit (NAV) 605755) Amoco
Leasehold Interest NE4SW4/NE4SW4/SW4SE4/
SW4NE4/NE4NW4: Sec 10-1-67
(Suckla Farms D (NAV) 312496-8) Amoco
for the reason that said equipment was double assessed due to a
clerical error, and
WHEREAS, at such hearing, H.H. Hansen, Weld County Assessor
was present, and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, has considered the petition and allowed an abatement on
the total sum of $376 ,950. 00 against the assessed valuation of said
property for 1976 and has further abated the total sum of $27,061. 24
from the orginial tax levied against said property for the year
1976 , and
WHEREAS, said petition was submitted to the property tax
administrator of the State of Colorado, R.E. Carper, who re-
viewed said petition and approved the action of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado said approval being
made on the 4th day of February, 1977.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the petition for
abatement on taxes on certain equipment located on the above
described real estate for and on behalf of Chevron Oil Company,
be and hereby is allowed to the extent as set forth in this
resolution.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly

The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 16th day of February, A.D. , 1977.
