Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins, CO, (970)-224-7343, has filed an application for Regular(112)Construction and Materials Operation Reclamation Permit Amendment with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under provision of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The mine is known as the Greeley 35th Avenue Mine. The Greeley 35th Avenue Mine is located in in Township 6 North, Range 66 West of the 6th Principle Meridian, in Sections 34 and 35. The Greeley 35th Avenue Mine is presently operational under permit M-1977-036. Reclamation of the West Pit within the Greeley 35th Avenue Mine is proposed for modification under this permit amendment. The proposed future use of the West Pit is developed water storage. Additional information and a tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety(1313 Sherman Street,Room 215, Denver, CO 80203, (303)-866-3567), the Weld County Clerk and Recorder's office (1402 N. 17th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631), or from the above named applicant. A complete copy of the application is available at the Weld County Clerk and Recorders office and at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining,and Safety office. Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be in writing and must be received by the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety by 4:00 p.m. August 28, 2014. Please note that under the provisions of C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et seq. Comments related to noise, truck traffic, hours of operation, visual impacts, effects on property values and other social or economic concerns are issues not subject to this Office's jurisdiction. These subjects,and similar ones, are typically addressed by your local governments, rather than the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety or the Mined Land Reclamation Board.
