Env. Health received a complaint about the property and requested that they be submitted in accordance with development standards. We'd like these added to the record. Let me know if there is a better way to add. The plan will describe each type of waste in terms of volume and how it will be managed and disposed of properly. The following types of material/waste will be stored onsite to support business operations and will have their own disposal requirements: • < 24 tires will be stored onsite. Tires inside the garage are either new or slightly used. The tires found outside are no longer usable, but will be taken to A&E Tire in Denver for retread processing or disposal. o A&E Tire 3855 E. 52nd Avenue Denver, CO. 80216 303-308-6900 • All trash, personal and business-related, is stored in trash containers inside of the garage and will be disposed of on a weekly basis by Gator Rubbish. o Gator Rubbish 7500 Dahlia St. Commerce City, CO. 80022 303-655-0710 • No batteries will be stored onsite. If a battery needs to be replaced, then it is taken to a truck parts store for core credit and proper disposal. Here is one location for an example. o ATTP 5196 E. 77th Ave. Commerce City, CO. 80022 303-301-7520 • < 55 gallons of oil will be stored in secondary containment for personal/emergency purposes. Our trucks tend to burn oil at times so it is necessary to have on hand. The owner and his family have a combined total of 7 cars plus a tractor for lawn mowing, which also require regular maintenance. Most, if not all, oil-related waste will be from personal use and will be taken to Sam Hill Oil or O'Reilly Auto Parts for disposal. o Sam Hill Oil Inc. 725 S. Main St. Brighton, CO. 80601 303-659-5610 o O'Reilly Auto Parts 100 S. Harrison Ave. Fort Lupton, CO. 80621 303-857-2154 • < 55 gallons of windshield washer fluid will be stored onsite in secondary containment for the purpose of topping of the windshield washer fluid on our cars and trucks. Windshield washer fluid is used by the vehicles while on the road, thus no kind of disposal is necessary for this chemical. • < 5 gallons of antifreeze will be stored onsite for personal use only. • < 5 spray cans of paint will be stored onsite. When the cans become empty, they will be taken by the same company as the trash, Gator Rubbish. Dust Mitigation Plan USR-1707 Any dust that is created at 8436 CR31 will be controlled by implementing the following actions: 1) Recycled asphalt will be applied on the unpaved roads and replaced as needed. 2) Use tarps to cover the open tops of our trailers. 3) All on-site vehicles will be restricted to lower speeds on the unpaved roads. If these actions are not enough to keep the amount of dust under control, then further steps will be taken to solve the problem. Such as the use of water to keep dust down. Hello
