BOCC Approval Date: July 16, 2014
Bids were received and opened on June 27, 2014 for Cisco Networking Equipment
(hardware, software, and services). Three (3) bids were received ranging from
$837,748.16 to $1,046,812.77. Attached is the bid tabulation for your information.
This bid represents the core network and data center technologies that will lay the
foundation for county IT services. The hardware, software, and services in the proposal
will provide a comprehensive network plan that will build upon the current design and
position IT services for future improvements.
The Information Technology staff reviewed all of the bids. All bids met the required
specs. The low bid in the amount of$837,748.16 was received from ISC out of
Englewood, CO and has been selected by the IT Staff as the winning bid.
With the above information, I recommend the board award the Cisco Networking
Equipment (hardware, software, and services) to ISC for a total amount of
$837,748.16.
