of arrangements. There were 20 people in the audience.

How much more will home rule cost?
Doris Williams --
Questioned qualifications for the Sheriff -- This will inhibit our choice.
Who will appoint or hire for the five departments?
Should let each department have a voice in the decisions the Commissioners make.
Walt Younglund --
Who sets salaries of department heads?
Who decides which Federal programs the county needs?
Does County Council have any authority to recommend to the County Commissioners
which federal programs they think we do not need?
Questioned if terms on Commissioners were retroactive.

How do you select auditor and attorney?

How do you justify the Commissioners coming in to work only one day a week and
still getting a salary?
