RESOLUTION
RE: BIDDING ON COUNTY ROAD CONSTRUCTION BY PRIVATE CONTRACTORS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, are vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, deems it advisable that the -Weld County Engineer prepare
construction plans and specifications for the construction of
county roads in Weld County, Colorado, and to submit said construc-
tion plans and specifications to private contractors so that bids
may be received by Weld County concerning construction of county
roads in the future. -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the County Engineer of
Weld County be, and hereby is directed to prepare construction plans
and specifications for all county road construction to be performed
in the future for submission to private contractors so that said
contractors may submit bids on said projects.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 16th day of
February, A.D. , 1977.
The above and foregoing Resolution was read into the record
and signed on the 14th day of March, A.D. , 1977.
