WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-8 (4) (c) of the Weld
County Home Rule Charter, it shall be the duty of the Board
of County Commissioners to appoint the department heads of
Bounty offices, departments and divisions, and
WHEREAS, Section 4-6 of said Charter provides for a
Department of Communications Services and a Director of same;
and the Division of Civil Defense totbe headed by said Director.
It has been recommended that Elmer H. Reynolds be appointed
as Director of the Department of Communications Services and
Civil Defense Director.
NOW, THEREFORE . BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that Elmer H. Reynolds
be, and he hereby is appointed as Director of the Department of
Communications Services and Civil Defense Director; and that Mr.
Reynolds serve in this capacity at the pleasure of the Board.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote this 2nd
day of January, 1976.
