It appearing to the Board that the lessees of Section 16, 4, 66,whieh
belongs to the state ,very seriously object to the layi,p�,,gg,pf the road along
the north side of the ditch -'of The Western Drainage _aM tfpply Company,
an refine Ip•-9ign a request to the State Land Board foxy the right of way;
in nsequenca "of which refusal,no right of way can be obtained from the
State for said read through Section 16; and it further appearing to the
Beard that there are large trees and a large ditch hank now on the section
line between Sections 15 and 22, 4, 66 preventing the laying of the road
on the section line between said Sections 15 and 22 and the owner of Sec,-
tion 22, 4, 66 having, through his agent,P.W.Allen,agroed to donate a right
of way sixty feet wide off the north side of Section 22 , 4,; 66 provided
the county will build a fence on the south side of said road through said
Section 22;
It is thereforeAorde ed that the Board of County Commissioners make
the following changes in Lhe route of said road as viewed: Instead of
leaving the section line at the center of Section 16,continue east on said
line to a point which is about ten rods west of the Southeast corner of
Section 16, 4, 66 from which pointwe locate the 5 .ptle^width of the road on
the South side of the section line between Sections lie and 22 to the
Northeast corner of Section 22, 4, 66 and from said Northeast corner of
Section 22,we locate said road on the section line between Sections 14
_ ad 23 to the intersection of the present county road on the east side of —

Gentlemen:
We, the undersigned, Citizens and Freeholders of your County,respectfully represent that the
necessities of the public require a County wagon road to be laid out as follows, to-wit: Commencing at

Said road to be not less than sixty (60)feet in width.
We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a County road as above
described, and we, the owners of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out, in consideration
of the sum of one dollar to us each and severally in hand paid by the said County of Weld, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agree to give the right
of way through our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for
