HomeMy WebLinkAbout20140120.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY FOR E-GRANT SUBMITTAL WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, County departments are sometimes required to submit Federal grant applications electronically, and WHEREAS, the procedure for the submittal of said grants requires a Certifying Official be named to electronically certify and submit the grant, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to delegate authority to Esther Gesick, Clerk to the Board, and Barbara Connolly, Controller, to be the designated Certifying Officials to electronically certify and submit grant applications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that authority be, and hereby is, delegated to Esther Gesick, Clerk to the Board, and Barbara Connolly, Controller, to be the designated Certifying Officials to electronically certify and submit grant applications. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that any grant being electronically certified and submitted must first be approved by Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of January, A.D., 2014.
