RE: DONATION OF ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY ($150.00) DOLLARS FROM KIWANIS OF THE
ROCKIES TO THE FRATERNITY HOUSE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is
vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colo-
rado, and
WHEREAS, the Kiwanis of the Rockies wish to donate ONE HUNDRED AND
FIFTY DOLLARS ($150.00) to the Fraternity House program for the exclusive
use to fund the Mountain Summer Program, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of County Commissioners is in receipt
of the donation of ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($150.00) from the Kiwanis
of the Rockies for the above purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Finance Officer be, and hereby
is, authorized to receive and deposit the ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS
($150.00) from the Kiwanis of the Rockies as a donation to the Fraternity
House Program for the exclusive use in the Mountain Summer Program, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that their appreciation is hereby expressed to the members
of the Kiwanis of the Rockies for the donation to this worthwhile County
program.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of May, A.D. , 1979.
