HomeMy WebLinkAbout770178 v � � RESOLUTION RE: REGULATING, WARNING AND GUIDING TRAFFIC ON N. 25TH AVE. BETWEEN F STREET AND O STREET DUE TO THE LARGE AMOUNT OF TRAFFIC AND CONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS. REQUEST FOR SPEED ZONING TO 30 M.P.H. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Colorado statute, the Board of County Commissioners has determined upon the basis of traffic counts through the Department of Engineering, that conditions exist which make it necessary to post the speed limit on 25th Avenue between F Street and O Street to 30 mph due to the large amount of traffic and construction in the. area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners that the Board deems it necessary and in the best interest of Weld County, to regulate, warn, and guide traffic on 25th Avenue between F Street and O Street by posting of the speed limit at 30 mph due to the large amount of traffic and construction in the area, for the safety of the general public and that said traffic control shall conform to the State Manual and specifications. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 31st day of August, A.D. , 1977. BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS !
