SUBJECT: CNG Tandem Axle Dump Trucks w/Reg Cab, Bid B1400144
The Public Works Department recommends awarding one CNG Tandem Axle Dump Truck from Transwest
Trucks with the cab and chassis, spreader, plow, and truck box from the Auto Group. The price for the cab
and chassis is $186,107. Option# 1 (Removable Pintle Hook) is $679.00; the spreader is $15,378; and the
truck box is $58,912 for a grand total of$261,076 for the Road & Bridge Construction division.
The Public Works Department recommends awarding one CNG Tandem Axle Dump Truck from Transwest
Trucks with the cab and chassis, spreader, plow, and truck box from OJ Watson. The price for the cab and
chassis is $186,107. Option# 2 (Chip Bar) is $750; the spreader is $18,300; and the truck box is $54,500 for a
grand total of$259,657 for the Pavement Management division.
