Maintenance Support, & Sheriff Divisions
Public Works received three bids from three vendors, Weld County Garage, Spradley
Barr Ford and Auto Nation Ford Littleton. Weld County Garage was low bid; however,
upon review of their bid, they did not meet vehicle specifications with horsepower and
torque. Therefore, staff recommends awarding to the next low bidder Spradley Barr
Ford for each Division in the following amounts:
Pavement Management recommends awarding to Spradley Barr Ford in the amount of
$37,639. (No options selected)
Mining recommends awarding to Spradley Barr Ford $37,639 with option #3(backup
alarm=$125) & option #4(100 gallon diesel fuel tank w/pump=$1463) for grand total of
$39,227.
Maintenance Support recommends awarding to Spradley Barr Ford $37,639 with option
#2 (V snow plow=$5750) for grand total of$43,389.
Motor Grader recommends awarding to Spradley Barr Ford $37,639x2=$75,278 with
option #1(rear lift gate=$2277x2=$4554) for a quantity of two, for grand total of$79,832.
The Sheriff's Office recommends awarding to Spradley Barr Ford in the amount of
$37,639. (No options selected)
The total bid award to Spradley Barr Ford is in the amount of$237,726.
